Basic Information about Our Company

The company VCL WATERTECH, s.r.o. was founded in 1994 under the name VA TECH WABAG Brno spol. s.r.o., as a subsidiary of Wabag Wassertechnische Anlagen GmbH & Co. KG, Kulmbach, Germany, which represented a major European manufacturer of water treatment technologies from drinking water, industrial and pool water to wastewater treatment.

Until the year 2000 the company mainly focused on the treatment of industrial water for power plants, heating plants and boiler rooms of industrial plants.
In the late of the year 2000, the first contract was signed for the supply of drinking water treatment equipment for the Nebanice Water Treatment Plant, where a unique technology was used that had no parallel in Central Europe. From this turning point, more and more projects began to appear in the field of drinking water treatment, such as ÚV Mariánské Lázně, ÚV Hradiště, ÚV Souš, ÚV Meziboří, ÚV Mostiště, ÚV Plzeň, ÚV Želivka and abroad for example ÚV Sojun Aly in Turkrmenistan.

Successfully implemented works strengthened our company's position on the market and increased customer interest in our other products in the field of energy, drinking and waste water treatment and project engineering. Today, we are able to prepare a complete project from technology design to processing project documentation at all stages, including 3D models.

The long-term high quality and reliability of our implementations has not gone unnoticed by important customers both in the Czech and foreign markets. Our company participated and still participates in the restoration of important Czech and foreign power plants. Thanks to our company's flexibility and ability to innovate, we have also managed to break into the metallurgical and oil industries.

In the field of water management, we are able to solve a wide range of procedures, while complying with the strictest European and international standards.
The long-term high quality and reliability of our implementations have not gone unnoticed by important customers both in the Czech and foreign markets. Our company participated and still participates in the restoration of important Czech and foreign power plants. Thanks to our company's flexibility and ability to innovate, we have also managed to establish themselves in the metallurgical and oil industries.

Due to our many years of experience, our company has been the subject of long-term interest from investors, and in April 2023 this process was completed by the purchase by VCL Group. This company owns a number of important companies operating in investment construction in the field of energy, oil and gas processing. Now this portfolio is being extended to the water management sector and further synergies are being created to connect the business activities of the VCL Group. With the change of owner, the name of the company was also changed to VCL WATERTECH, s.r.o. on September 1, 2023, while all continuity was preserved.

With the new owner, new opportunities for the company's activities are opening up both domestically and especially abroad, where we are concentrating on new energy projects and at the same time on drinking water treatment projects, while we proceed from the fact that there is an increasing shortage of drinking water in the world. This is closely related to waste water recycling technology, which we also have in our production program.
The company VCL WATERTECH, s.r.o. has a team of experienced experts and specialists with high professional competence in their field. Our employees have also sufficient language skills to participate in activities in international conditions and implement foreign projects outside the European sphere, e.g. Asia and Africa. We consider it a matter of course that we are always prepared to provide services and implement projects in the country and support domestic customers.
